Get Better Today
Golf instruction is not a universal discipline. All of the top teachers
employ different models and methods with their students. It is incumbent on the instructor to identify the components of each model and method and have a full
understanding of which model will improve or regress a player’s ability. Trying to fit each student into the same method can prove disastrous and I have witnessed firsthand how this can ruin the careers of world class players. I have also witnessed firsthand the resurrection of world class players whose careers were on the brink of ruin.
I
teach with a simple philosophy:
"If the student is not hitting the ball better in the next 5 minutes, then either the student did not do what the instructor was asking, or what the instructor was asking the student to do was the wrong information."
